Altered dark box.

Today I would like to share with you my new altered box .

My idea was a dark and mysterious butterfly box.

I began to paint the whole box with black jesso

Then I used Stamperia rice paper to create a collage background on the whole box.

I also painted the box from the inside with black Jesso

added splatter of white acrylic to give some interest into the box

Another paper of Stempria rice on the left side of the inner box

I really liked the end result of my creation.
